Physical Description:

Personality:
Hen is gentle and overall well-intentioned. They have trouble expressing this due to the fact that they are very suspicious of others and their motives, even their close friends. They're often abrasive, due to constant paranoia, and not being able to sleep well. They tend to obsess over problems, often ruminating on the fact that the problem exists rather than looking towards a solution. They're melancholy, rarely being in a truly happy mood. Not much is important to them beyond their sister, mother, and close friend, who were left behind when they were plucked. They're fairly simple in how they dress, act, and live. Others may be uncomfortable around them due to their aloofness (which stems from fear) but they are not malicious. Their harmlessness is fairly extreme, with them often refusing to fight back when they are threatened with physical violence.
Abilities: Hen is extra empathetic with avian creatures, but not exceptionally. They have powerful healing abilities, but are currently unaware that they exist. They will someday be capable of healing even fatal wounds and infections, but will never be able to revive the dead.
Homeworld:
Hen lived in a sort of twilight world with their mother, and later their sister. Fae and other sorts of creatures co-existed with humans, separate from them but never far away. They grew up in a small house in a swamp with their mother, tending small flocks of birds.
History: Hen's mother had children with a harpy, but they were later separated and Hen's sister, who was more visibly a harpy, grew up in harpy society. Hen was raised with their human mother, and once they were older, served as her errand-runner. They eventually reunited with their sister, and she came back to live with them and their mother. They would have been content to stay with their mother, sister and friends for the rest of their life, but were plucked from their home one day while going on a quick grocery run.
