Name: Prism
Age: 107 (around 30 in dragon years)
Gender: Demi girl she/her/her/herself
Orientation: Pansexual demipanromantic
Species: Prism is a dragon. In her world, dragons are large magical creatures. They all are born with wings and are scaly. Some can breathe fire. Every dragon is born with some sort of gemstone lodged on the surface of their body. It cannot be destroyed easily, and is usually left behind even after the death of the body. Dragons usually live with their parents and siblings, along with many neighbor families. Prestige through material possessions or battle is highly valued. Aerial combat tournaments are a common community activity. Dragons do not assign their offspring genders at birth.
Physical Description:
Prism is average in size for her species. Her scales resemble a snake's, and are a dark reddish-purple color. She has two sets of curving lavender horns on her head, and black spines running down her spine. Her tail is spade shaped, the same black as her spines. Her eyes are bright read, with reptilian eye slights. She is built sturdily, with some fat rolls. Her underside is lightly plated with overlapping lavender scales. They provide more protection than the rest of her scales. Her snout is long and pointed, with a small spike on the tip. On her chest is a large, round garnet. Her feet look like a mix between an iguanas and a lizards, resting flat on the ground with long, grasping fingers and sharp talons. Prism's wings are broad and long, giving her poor turning abilities but enabling her to soar to enormous heights with ease. She can breathe fire.
Personality:
Prism is, first and foremost, jaded and volatile. She is motivated by a vague desire to prove herself as superior to those around her. Her ego is very easily threatened. She considers herself "above" other beings, and will try and assert control over them with varying levels of subtlety. However, she is often clumsy and misguided. She doesn't possess the social suave necessary to control others with just words, so she often will resort to brutish displays, and resents herself for it. Prism acts the way she does because she desires to be accepted by others, but her methods are terrible and she cannot achieve her heart's desire until she realizes that she is a bad person.
Homeworld:
Prism's homeworld was a small planet, home to humans, dragons, and many other stranger creatures. She was born on the northernmost continent. It was generally cold, and covered in mountains. Dragons were a fairly rare species, but well feared and respected. Humans were the only species that rivaled them for territory and resources.
History:
Prism was born in a clutch of three, to two female dragons who lived in a mountainous region. Prism left when she was around twenty-five years old, having no close friends and an unhealthy home. She found satisfaction in terrorizing humans, and especially in collecting objects they held. She established quite a reputation as a hoarding dragon, and enjoyed flaunting her success to other dragons.
Prism had just heard tell of a powerful human magic-user, who was coming to "end her reign of terror." Quite silly. She was preparing to squash this ridiculous "threat" when something bizarre happened. It felt like some invisible force picked her up by her wingtips and threw her into the air. Except when she landed, she was in a completely different world.
