Laurent drooped even more pronouncedly after Lane denied seeing any caves.

"Oh, ok. Sorry..." they mumbled.

They perked up at faer suggestion. "Really?" They squeaked. "I mean, that would be really cool. I bet there are some good ones around here." Maybe even ones with little streams! Excited, they let go of the tree, and crashed to the forest floor.

"I'm fine! Are we gonna go?"
